This week, another recall has made news, this time from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.4c.com\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">4C Foods<\/a>. The company voluntarily recalled 3,500 jars of their 6 ounce grated Parmesan after the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fda.gov\/Safety\/Recalls\/ucm412309.htm\" target=\"_blank\">FDA found potential salmonella contaminates<\/a> during routine testing.&nbsp;No illnesses have been reported yet.<\/p>\n<p>As&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/consumerist.com\/2014\/09\/03\/thousands-of-jars-of-parmesan-cheese-recalled-because-no-one-wants-salmonella-with-their-spaghetti\/\" target=\"_blank\">Consumerist reports<\/a>, the affected products are marked with &#8220;Best by&#8221; dates of July 21st and 22nd, 2016, and were distributed in Iowa, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. They also list symptoms of salmonella, saying that &#8220;While no illnesses have been reported involving the cheese, salmonella can cause serious and sometimes fatal injuries especially in young children, elderly people, and otherwise with weakened immune systems.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>If you think that you may have a recalled jar of the grated parmesan, the FDA urges that consumers throw out both the cheese and the container, and contact 4C Foods for a replacement or full refund.<\/p>\n<p>What do you think of the recent recalls?
