We&#8217;ve always been big fans of individual cheese pioneers, working in tiny kitchens to coagulate milk into homemade treasures. While technically our contest is limited to US residents, this handcrafted Appenzeller-style cheese made in (Oh) Canada pulls so strongly at our heartstrings and our stomachs that we had to give it a shout-out.
