Or, are you part of the minority crowd—you and your fellow savory waffle lovers? Well, we’ve gathered some of our favorite and best recipes for cheese-focused waffles. You’ll want to make these this weekend (and the next, and the one after that). You know us, we condone putting cheese on anything<\/a>. And, for that matter, using a waffle iron for all sorts of fried cheese magic<\/a>.<\/p>\n

These waffles from awesome blog Joy the Baker<\/a> (that’s them in our featured photo!) are the perfect food to make with all those leftover mashed potatoes (I know, those few<\/em> instances there are any leftovers). They’re sturdy enough to hold up as sandwich bread and are topped in our favorite ingredient: cheese!<\/p>\n

More like deep-fried macaroni-and-cheese nuggets that are cooked in a waffle iron (even though they’re not<\/em> deep-fried!), these waffles from Serious Eats<\/a> are crispy, crunchy, creamy, and so easy to make.<\/p>\n
