Now their luscious wheels grace cheese counters across the country, such as the triple-cream and perennial favorite <a href=\"https:\/\/developer83.wordpress-developer.us\/culturecheesemag\/cheese-library\/Mt-Tam\" target=\"_blank\">Mt. Tam<\/a>, the striking washed-rind <a href=\"https:\/\/developer83.wordpress-developer.us\/culturecheesemag\/cheese-library\/Red-Hawk\" target=\"_blank\">Red Hawk<\/a>, and their rotating seasonal cheeses like the nettle-leaf-wrapped <a href=\"https:\/\/developer83.wordpress-developer.us\/culturecheesemag\/cheese-library\/st-pat\" target=\"_blank\">St Pat<\/a>, which was recently featured as <strong>culture<\/strong>&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/developer83.wordpress-developer.us\/culturecheesemag\/article\/centerfold-cheese-cowgirl-creamery-st-pat\" target=\"_blank\">centerfold cheese<\/a> for spring of 2016.<\/p>\n<div style=\"float: left; margin-right: 10px;\"><a \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>Cowgirl Creamery is following in the footsteps of several California artisan cheesemakers by finding a new home under Emmi, Switzerland&#8217;s largest dairy processor: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cypressgrovechevre.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Cypress Grove Chevre<\/a>, makers of <a href=\"https:\/\/developer83.wordpress-developer.us\/culturecheesemag\/cheese-library\/humboldt-fog\" target=\"_blank\">Humboldt Fog<\/a>, was bought up in 2010, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.redwoodhill.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Redwood Hill<\/a>, known for a <a href=\"https:\/\/developer83.wordpress-developer.us\/culturecheesemag\/cheese-library\/Fresh-Chvre-Redwood-Hill\" target=\"_blank\">variety of fresh ch\u00e8vres<\/a>, joined Emmi <a href=\"https:\/\/developer83.wordpress-developer.us\/culturecheesemag\/cheese-bites\/redwood-hill-farm-sold-to-emmi\" target=\"_blank\">just this past December<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Part of the appeal for Peg and Sue in selling Cowgirl Creamery to Emmi was the level of independence allowed them in continuing to run and grow their business. &ldquo;We are really happy,&rdquo; Sue told <strong>culture<\/strong>. &ldquo;We watched how it&#8217;s working with Cypress Grove and think that&#8217;s going really well, so we feel great about this.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>New investment from higher up is attrative, too: They plan on building a new creamery for expanded production and distribution and fostering additional growth at Cowgirl&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cowgirlcreamery.com\/sidekick-cafe-milk-bar\" target=\"_blank\">Sidekick Cafe &#038; Milk Bar<\/a> in the Ferry Building in San
