For a gateway into goat cheese, consider Minnesota\u2019s Idyll Farms\u2019 <\/span>Idyll Pastures Spreadable<\/span><\/a>. Made with their own pasture-fed French Alpine goats\u2014a breed known for sweet and plentiful milk, and crazy <\/span>cuteness<\/span><\/a>\u2014Spreadable Idyll Pastures is irresistibly soft and fluffy. A clean lemon start, luxurious mouthfeel, and the slightest hint of vanilla bean make this a versatile cheese, great for sweet or savory.<\/span><\/p>\n

This super-fresh ch\u00e8vre goes from milk to packaged cheese in just three days. Culture and <\/span>animal rennet<\/span><\/a> are added to gently-pasteurized milk and, after coagulation, the curds are drained using cheesecloth.
