Cut wedge upon wedge of salty blue cheese and you\u2019ve got all the red, white, and blue you need to have a freaking blast! <\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Here\u2019s what you might have missed this week:<\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Last week, cheese thieves made off with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/who-stole-my-cheese-parmesan-thefts-grate-on-italian-cheesemakers-1529682856\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">over 25,000 pounds<\/a> of Parmigiano in Serramazzoni, Italy. Clearly, I\u2019m in the wrong profession.<br \/>\n<\/span>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thedailymeal.com\/eat\/hooked-cheese-cheese-shopping-cheesemongers-part-2-presentation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">This expert cheesemonger<\/a> says that if a clothbound cheddar is shedding tears, you should be too.<br \/>\n<\/span>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A fan celebrates Switzerland&#8217;s #WorldCup victory by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buzz.ie\/football\/swiss-wheel-of-cheese-289718\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tossing a giant wheel of Swiss cheese<\/a> towards the field \u26bd&nbsp;<br \/>\n<\/span>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Is Britain in the midst of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/news\/uk-news\/britain-brink-halloumi-shortage-cheese-12779680\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a Halloumi shortage<\/a>? But that leftover mac and cheese in the back of your fridge? Toss it. It\u2019s time.<br \/>\n<\/span>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The government has stockpiled over <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/news\/wonk\/wp\/2018\/06\/28\/americas-cheese-stockpile-just-hit-an-all-time-high\/?noredirect=on&amp;utm_term=.74a1cd473b2e\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">1 billion pounds of cheese<\/a>.
