The main attraction, of course, was a 400-pound wheel of Crucolo cheese, but the addition of the \u201ctown crier,\u201d dancers, and Miss Crucolo USA definitely augmented the festivities. Now we just need a cheese event in every major U.S. city. Here&#8217;s some cheese news to inspire you while you brainstorm.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s what you may have missed this week:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">South Korea has a<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/news\/7891215\/cheese-theme-park-south-korea-wheel-buildings\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> cheese theme park<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">! That\u2019s right. The Imsil Cheese Park is a 32-acre park complete with cheese-shaped buildings, classes, and mini cheese-themed rides.&nbsp;<\/span><\/span>&nbsp;&nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rising demand for non-dairy cheese options has prompted the New England-based cashew cheesemaker<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foodnavigator-usa.com\/Article\/2018\/12\/04\/Cashew-cheese-maker-Nuttin-Ordinary-expands-as-demand-for-non-dairy-options-rises\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Nuttin Ordinary<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (hands down the best name ever) to expand.&nbsp;<\/span><\/span>&nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">December 12 marks the return of Whole Food\u2019s famed <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thrillist.com\/news\/nation\/whole-foods-12-days-of-cheese-sale-holidays-2018\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">12 Days of Cheese<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. One cheese each day will be marked down 50%. See you there!&nbsp;<\/span><\/span>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Milwaukee Bucks\u2019 star player Giannis Antetokounmpo received the best (and most Wisconsin) birthday present money can buy: a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmj4.com\/sports\/basketball\/milwaukee-bucks\/giannis-antetokounmpo-gets-a-wheel-of-cheese-for-his-birthday\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">40 pound wheel of cheese.<\/span><\/a><br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Football coach Bill O\u2019Brien coined the term <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.houstontexans.com\/news\/vandermeer-s-view-the-cheese-is-tempting\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cdon\u2019t take the cheese\u201d<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to warn that success can lull you into a careless state.
