Linked to the successes of Genghis Khan\u2019s armies and the battle-ready Ja<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">panese Samurais who carried it<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">&nbsp;in travel flasks and wine sheaths, a buzz over&nbsp;<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">kombucha\u2019s<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">&nbsp;health benefits likely first traveled down the Silk Road to Europe and beyond.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">In the United States,&nbsp;<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">kombucha\u2019s<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">&nbsp;popularity is not only associated with probiotic and gut health trends; it\u2019s also a tart and effervescent alternative to beer, cider, and wine.
