If you haven\u2019t already, make sure to check out our <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/developer83.wordpress-developer.us\/culturecheesemag\/blog\/how-to-shop-local-cheeses-from-the-comfort-of-your-couch\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">roundup<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of cheese folks who are offering online ordering, delivery, curbside pickup, virtual gift cards, and other creative ways to sustain their businesses while maintaining safety for consumers. The only way to get through this is together!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In other cheese news:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.edp24.co.uk\/news\/health\/norwich-cheese-shed-warehouse-to-open-to-public-as-coronavirus-closes-pubs-restaurants-and-cafes-1-6571039\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">British cheese supplier <\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">has decided to open its warehouse to the public in order to make sure their cheese stock doesn\u2019t go to waste in the midst of this crisis. They\u2019ll offer locally-produced cheddar, meats, and other goods at wholesale prices all weekend in an effort to pay some of their struggling suppliers.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We\u2019ve all been washing our hands like mad in the past few weeks, so who can blame <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vice.com\/en_us\/article\/v74jdy\/relatable-woman-realizes-shes-been-washing-her-hands-with-a-block-of-cheese\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">this woman<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> who mistook a block of cheese for a bar of soap? In her defense, the cheese was dried out, shaped like soap, and probably smelled delicious.&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A Canadian man is being accused of <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vernonmorningstar.com\/news\/man-allegedly-steals-1400-worth-of-cheese-from-west-kelowna-grocer\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">stealing $1,400 worth of cheese from a grocery store<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. He allegedly plopped two five-kilogram blocks of cheese into his grocery cart and wheeled it out the door without paying. (We know these are trying times, but c\u2019mon people.)&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Some good news: London-based The Cheese Truck, led by Mathew Carver, is delivering<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/london\/news\/the-cheese-truck-is-delivering-self-isolation-survival-kits-around-london-031920\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u201cself-isolation survival kits\u201d<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> consisting of cheese, wine, and charcuterie for households to share (or hungry turophiles to enjoy alone) during this crisis. What could be a better remedy during these trying times?<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Erika Kubick, head of @<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/cheesesexdeath\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">cheesesexdeath<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, recently shared a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/B9rQ8fcpRq9\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">handy video<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> highlighting tips on what cheeses and accompaniments to stock up on and how to store them during a long-term quarantine.
