This is a result of cutting the cow\u2019s milk curds to the size of rice grains, which are then pressed, cooked, and aged for up to two years. Grana Padano carries a DOP designation (Italy\u2019s version of a Protected Designation of Origin), and regulations state that wheels may not be aged for less than nine months. That\u2019s a long time to wait for cheese!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Ambrosi\u2019s Grana Padano is perfect for grating over pasta, shaving onto salads, or boiling into soup to lend a salty, umami layer. It\u2019s slightly milder than Parmigiano-Reggiano, which means it can satisfy your snacking needs, too. This cheese is part of Ambrosi\u2019s Millennials line, which features color-coded labels that denote cheese style.
