If you\u2019re planning on firing up the grill for some cheesy beef and veggie burgers this weekend, we\u2019ve got suggestions for which curds to keep on hand to satisfy all your guests\u2019 preferences: <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/developer83.wordpress-developer.us\/culturecheesemag\/cheese-pairings\/7-burger-cheeses\/?mc_cid=6e80ab1174&amp;mc_eid=UNIQID\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">from classic to gooey to full of funk.<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In other cheese news:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.shepherdspurse.co.uk\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Shepherds Purse<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, an artisan maker in the UK, is once again <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yorkpress.co.uk\/news\/19543520.pdo-shepherds-purse-rebrand-yorkshire-fettle-cheese\/?mc_cid=b36d402fbd&amp;mc_eid=989b8ffc68&amp;mc_cid=b36d402fbd&amp;mc_eid=989b8ffc68\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">under fire<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for the name of its cheese, Yorkshire Fettle\u2014renamed in 2008 after Greek feta was awarded PDO status. The association claims that &#8220;Fettle&#8221; still breaches protection rules; Shepherds Purse plans to to once again change the name of the cheese by the end of the year.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It\u2019s been a tough tropical storm season across the country. After facing damaging destruction from storm flooding, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/goldenagecheese.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Golden Age Cheese<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in Woodhull, New York is curating <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/goldenagecheese.com\/product\/comeback-pack\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Comeback Pack<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a monthly subscription club that will help rebuild the retail factory outlet store, and raise money to folks nearby who experienced similar damage.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">General Mills is branching out into the &#8220;animal-free&#8221; category with <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/renegadecreamery.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Renegade Creamery<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which will produce cheese products by using dairy proteins made via microbial fermentation (in other words, without cows).
