The collaboration was sparked by devastating floods that impacted farms in the region earlier this year. Perry got the idea from a visit to Neal&#8217;s Yard Dairy in London, and after experimenting with it this summer, he&#8217;s going to start shipping his cheeses exclusively with wool insulation this fall. From the gimmicky\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foodandwine.com\/news\/velveeta-martini-blt-restaurants-goldbelly\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Velveeta martini<\/a>\u00a0to more elevated aperitifs, like those crafted at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foodandwine.com\/travel\/syndicat-paris-cocktails-cheese\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Le Syndicat<\/a>\u00a0in Paris, cheese is popping up in cocktails all over the world.\u00a0<em>The Takeout<\/em>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thetakeout.com\/paris-cheese-cocktails-gin-goat-cheese-mousse-drinks-1849545843\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">examines the trend<\/a>\u00a0and tells us which can stay and which can go. The butter board trend originated with Joshua McFadden&#8217;s 2017 cookbook,\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Six-Seasons-New-Way-Vegetables\/dp\/1579656315\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Six Seasons<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>and has reached the masses via\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/justine_snacks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">@justine_snacks<\/a>\u00a0on TikTok (who unabashedly wants to make the butter board the next charcuterie board).\u00a0<\/li><li>If you&#8217;re eager to get a start on holiday shopping,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foodandwine.com\/lifestyle\/kitchen\/best-charcuterie-boards\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Food &amp; Wine has a round up<\/a>\u00a0of grazing boards in all shapes, sizes, and materials.\u00a0<\/li><li>A woman from Albuquerque\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbp.gov\/newsroom\/local-media-release\/wheels-fall-cheese-smuggling-scheme-cbp-officers-seize-undeclared\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">was fined $1,000\u00a0for attempting to smuggle<\/a>\u00a050\u00a01-kilo wheels of Mexican cheese across the border in El Paso.
