You just might be surprised.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I was confident that the flavor combination would work \u2013 at least with brie cheese \u2013 since I\u2019ve made so many caramely-topped brie cheese appetizers in the past. And apples, well they sort of go with almost everything. I think my mom used to make this cream cheese plus caramel plus apple dip of some sort too. And the thing is, with an appropriate amount of cheese and thick multigrain oaty bread and just a smear of caramel, it\u2019s perfectly filling and not TOO carb coma-esque, especially when paired with a little salad or soup.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.howsweeteats.com\/2012\/10\/caramel-apple-grilled-cheese\/\" target=\"_blank\">Get the recipe<\/a><\/p>\n<address>Photo by How Sweet It Is<\/address>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s fall.
