I am in love with Alpine cheese (and you should be too!). I just cannot get enough of these amazing cheeses from the Alps of France, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, and Italy. Their unique flavor and complexity never cease to amaze me. Every time I bite into one of these works of art it takes my palate on a savory, buttery, nutty, and sometimes wonderfully stinky journey. A few of my favorites are Beaufort<\/a>, Vacherin Mont d’Or<\/a>, Ch\u00e4llerhocker<\/a>,<\/span> Scharfe Maxx 365<\/a>, Heublumen<\/a>, Comt\u00e9<\/a>, Sennerkase<\/a>, Alta Badia, and Hubaner Emmentaler<\/a>! So, if your mouth is watering as much as mine, run down to your LOCAL, INDEPENDENT cheese shop and pick up one of these beauties!<\/p>\n

And be sure to pick up a dry Riesling or Gewurztraminer to go with! <\/p>\n
